I am very happy with the experience. GeoPermits is much more reasonable on price with less increases over time versus the competition. We love that GeoPermits charges by the number of parcels versus the number of users or workflows, so you get unlimited users and unlimited workflows. The biggest advantage is we are able to integrate Beacon and our GIS mapping seamlessly. Applicants can make or attach site plans in the system as well. GeoPermits is incredibly flexible and meets almost any needs. It has been so easy to use and learn.

I just think this is something we really need to offer to the public... multiple offices are going to be able to use it. And there are no additional charges for these other departments to come onto it, so it really ended up being a good fit, plus we’re able to use one database in our existing systems. We’re not trying to keep up two databases and all this other stuff, so I think it’ll be a great addition for our constituents.

There is a lot of excitement about the GeoPermits Product. It appears to include everything we are looking for. Knowing I will be responsible for the in-house application management, I was pleased to see a clean and seemingly easy-to-use interface.

GeoPermits has always paid dividends, but never more than during the pandemic closures. Our constituents can file and pay for permits online 24/7. This capability saves the applicant time and travel to the courthouse. It also saves the county time and money.

[GeoPermits] will speed up the process and allow us not to have to handle a lot of phone calls. Staff will have more time in the field and be more efficient.
